So they now admit there was a meltdown when some where saying there was but they officially denied it.

There was a fascinating podcast from the BBC about Chernobyl called R4Choice: 29 Apr 11: Fallout: The Legacy of Chernobyl. You can find it via Google.

The claim was that 40,000 extra people have had cancers as a result of Chernobyl and 16,000 have died. That's over 25 years. They had an interview with the bloke that they made stand on what remained of the roof to take radiation readings. He was 66 which is about 4 years older than the life expectancy at birth for a Ukrainian man.

It is worth a listen if you're interested in such things. Given that this is post 293 on the thread I guess that some are.

It seems the Fukishema 50 are now 40 something.

At least one has died from `unknown` causes, and some others are unaccounted for.

Is it a big cover up? Or a coincidence?

I don't think it is a cover up. They have talked about this on Sky News since the outset - initially it involved people missing from the earliest explosion and they mentioned the other day that someone clocked in for work and then died. I don't think it is a coincidence either. What they are doing is both high danger and high skill. Unfortunately it is a job that comes with a risk of death.

Those people missing are from the events of March 11th. That was nothing to do with radiation.

The mainstream news is now reporting at least another one of the Fukishema 50 has died but they do not say its radiation involved.

Other unconfirmed reports have been saying others of the 50 at the plant have gone to hospital with radiation problems and now are missing. There were 2 men who stepped into highly radioactive water and it ate through their NBC boots and suits right down to the bloody bone. Some are saying these men are dead now but its trying to be covered up.

I have been hearing again unconfirmed that doctors have been hushed up so as not to cause panic evac of greater Tokyo.

I wonder is it possible to get names of the original 50 and find out how many are still alive?

    Oh dear.
I see how you've been so blinded to the guff about silver now.

Radioactive water which eats through suits and flesh?

What are you saying that the story was made up? I think more like covered up but each to their own maybe your right. Maybe those 2 men are fine and dandy and their legs are fine there is no danger with radioactive water.

I'm saying radioactive water doesn't "eat/dissolve" suits and flesh.
I realise this won't correspond to the type of thing you read on the type of websites you usually inhabit.

(Incidentally, don't you find it strange it didn't "eat" bone too?)

You can deny it all you want, its up to each individual what they believe. But I believe there was an incident where some of the Fukishema 50 stepped in radioactive water and their skin

Three workers this week stepped into highly radioactive water while ... the skin of their feet/legs where the water soaked into their boots became blistered...........

    http://mainfo.blogspot.com/2011/03/highly-radioactive-water-leaking.html

Blistered, burns when they stepped in water that was 10000 times more radioactive ... enough to protect their legs,

    http://www.journalgazette.net/article/20110327/NEWS04/303279916

radiation over-exposure actually stepped into contaminated water, ... Injuries were sustained to their legs,

    http://www.timeout.jp/en/tokyo/feature/2675/Tokyo-radiation-water-and-aftershocks-information

Radiation burns are no joke, and to say the water ate through their NBC protective boots may be not as accurate as some accounts, but its nearer the truth to what some are trying to present that the crisis is not that dangerous any more.

The account of eye witness on the Alex Jones show said it was just bloody bones left on the legs and now we do not know if these men are still alive.

Some reports say it was 2 men some say 3.

Is it possible to find out how many of the original 50 are still alive.

    Ah so that explains it.

    This man is a nutter.
