Japan crisis - the worlds economic outlook?

Inflation may be a problem if Japan keep on expanding the currency supply
Yes, that certainly has been a huge problem for Japan over the last decade or more 'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -
Can anyone give me a good explanation why the silver nutters are all so fascinated by the Japan troubles - including the nuclear problems?0
-
Precious metal nuts are heavily influenced by US right wing neo-milleniarists, and a great deal of what they believe is based on the idea that silver and gold represent "real" money, where fiat currency doesn't. It's very cultish. You need a collapse in civilisation to really buy into the whole thing, and the idea of nuclear catastrophe is very attractive as a trigger.0

So, anyone know how Japan is doing, now its all under control & hunky dory? Not Again0

Yeah the mainstream news hardly covers it any more.
Many people still worried though, apparently it`s still spewing radiation for another 9 months minimum.0 -
I think as Theone1 says - all they needed to do was announce they had 'a plan' and it would have become a non-story much sooner.
The fact that the plan consists of carrying on crisis management for the 6-9 months it is likely to take for the level of reaction in the the fuel rods to fall to levels where they no longer spontaneously overheat doesn't seem to matter - in terms of news management having 'a plan' is the same as problem solved.1984ReturnsForReal wrote: »So, anyone know how Japan is doing, now its all under control & hunky dory?Yeah the mainstream news hardly covers it any more.
