Minibus Excess Insurance in UK

Does anyone know whether it's possible to get excess insurance for a 15 seater minibus for 3 days in the UK.

I've had a look around and can find insurance for up to 9 seats, and for van insurance, but not minibuses.


It's just that I've got a quote of £200 for 3 days minibus hire, but the insurance excess is £2000 and can't be reduced.
(The alternative with another company is £312 for a 3day minibus hire with a £500 excess).

I was hoping to be able to pay a bit extra to bring these excesses down.

    I don't think you will find anywhere who will do this. Do neither offer any CDW type add-on? Best thing is to not crash the bus!
