hello everyone just wanted to ask a question i am starting work next monday after being on jsa for 12 months ,the thing is i dont get paid for a month are there any benefits available to me until i get paid or do just go without any money until i get paid .:)

Ask the jobcentre, although I'm surprised they haven't told you already what the procedure is.
I am a single mum and so when I went back to work after being on IS for over a year I got
A 4 week run on for my HB and CTB (they did cancel it at first but a phone call sorted it)
A back to work bonus (had to apply for this)
And a weekly In work credit (again had to be applied for)

The jobcentre do push you back to work which is good but to be honest I am sick of the to-ing and fro-ing back to the council who want proof of absolutley everything several times and I never know how much benefit I'm getting or when, so be prepared for this if you are still claiming as it is a huge pain:mad:
