Paris for a weekend :-)

I am thinking of going to Paris taking my sons (7 and 10). We would want to go there by train (inc Eurostar) and wondered if anyone had done this or knew of any good deals?

I would probably go on a Friday morning and stay Friday and Saturday nights, coming back on the Sunday. Or possibly just go Saturday, come back Sunday.

Are there any good train/hotel deals?

Thank you.

    I found this

    London to Paris: 1 Adult

    Outbound - Friday 8th July 2011

    11:01 - London St Pancras 14:17 - Paris Nord 02h16m
    (duration) Standard
    Non flexible £34.50

    Inbound - Sunday 10th July 2011
    20:13 - Paris Nord 21:36 - London St Pancras 02h23m
    (duration) Standard
    Non flexible £44.50
Total price for 1 Adult £79.00

For all credit card purchases over £30.00 there is an additional fee of £4, but you can avoid it by paying with a debit card.

  • I've just booked 5 day trip (2 adults) Mon-Friday through myparis.co.uk and got a pretty good deal - hotel and flights from Manchester - they also did eurostar but for us we had to get to London which made it a longer journey and more expensive.

Does it have to be a weekend? There might be cheaper mid-week deals?

Which month, as hotel accomodation can be v difficult to get.

Can ask a friedn for details of recent trip, have not been for over a year myself.
