I need urget help and advice for my credit card

Hey all, I'm with halifax, am about 300-400 quid over my 1000 limit, im only a student and cant come anywhere close to payin my 50-60 quid minimum payments despite working all hours, i get a monthly charge of 25 quid over limit fee, and normally a 25 quid late/no payment fine.

My question is, is there anyway to freeze this so that i can pay it off more slowly?

all help appreciated

Gavin

Phone them up and talk to them about your problems, they may be able to agree a repayment plan with you.
Or contact Citizens Advice or one of the debt charities.
I suggest you post on the debt free wannabe board where people in a similar situation will be able to provide more detailed advice.
