Moving between partitions

I want to move a program file between partitions on a computer using a Windows XP Domestic. The parititions are standard ones generated by XP to allow multiple users. How can I therefore move the Program File from one partition to another? I downloaded the program on one partition, but need it on another!

I believe partition magic has a feature that enables you to do this. Its fairly expensive compared to uninstalling/reinstalling though
However, it may remove the need to move the program if you resize the partitions. As with all things, make sure you have a backup first. 0
