hello me and my husband are trying for another baby.
i had the implanon in for 3 years . had it taken out over a month ago.
i had a period 2 days after removal. not had another since...test negative.
just wondered if anyone has had the implant and how long it took to conceive ? i was told fertility came back straight away.

my sister had her implant taken out and fell almost immediately but lost it 7 weeks in the doctor did say to her that it may have been because she still had it in her system and was told not to try for a few months until her body settled down again, this would not applie to everyone just saying what happened to her. though 3 months on she fell pregnant and this time all fine and i have a beautiful baby niece. good luck the worst thing to do though is worry or stress,it took me nearly a year to concieve with my 2nd but when it happens it is so worth it:xmastree:Is loving life right now,yes I am a soppy fool who believes in the simple things in life :xmastree:0

I wasn't TTC when I had my implanon took out but I would say that my periods didn't go back to normal for about 4/5 months - they were really irregular so I would give it at least another few weeks before testing again.:happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0

i've never had it, it one of those contraception methods that scare me.
i have a few friends who been on it, some have fallen with a month, some months and some a year. i not sure there is any set amount of time as everyone is different.
every time i've used the pill i've fallen preg within a couple of months of coming off it. when i used the jab it took over a yr almost 18m to fall. was very good fun but also very worring thinking what were these chemical's in my body.0
