Taking my frugal life on the road!0 -
I sent my sister £20 she wasn't expecting.
I updated my DFW diary.
I got a template letter from here and will write it up later to tell Lowells I'm not paying a SB debt I probably didn't even owe.I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)
As of the last count I have cleared [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt.

Hello all
I have been one of those AWOL from this lovely thread- been a weird month with both me and OH having work issues.. Upshot is that I leave at end of month which is a good thing but in parallel OH hears about whether he has been made redundant on Weds. Although it wouldn't effectively for ages if it did happen..it's been a wee bit of a preoccupation!
Anyway yesterday was a NSD. First in ages..yay! We also skyped a beloved friend in CHCH New Zealand..first time we have spoken since the earthquake there and I am still amazed that such a great quality communication can be FREE!
Today was less good as paid a friend our deposit for our joint family holiday but on otherhand good to get it out of the way. Also paid back my sis some money..but no other spends. Had leftovers from Sunday roast (duck which was reduced in the Co&p too) in a Chinese soup. Had no noodles and rather than going out for some I used pasta. Tasted fine! Good actually! Hd no bread and instead of going to the shop I put on the bread maker. So feeling kinda like we're on right track!
We are also keeping an extra tight record of our money..given everything that's going on. As ever groceries and doing stuff eg. Pub, meals out, cinema, entertaining friends are our downfalls. But OH ha made another batch of HM beer! Much cheaper!!:TMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal
