Missing tap part - what it is called?

Hi all, throwing myself on your mercy as I need your help please to identify a bit that is missing from my thermostatic bath shower mixer tap bought from ebay. This is the tap I have...

http://www.topbrandbathrooms.com/bristan-java-j-thbsmvo-c-bath-filler-with-thermostatic-shower-chrome-plated/p3318

I have printed off the fitting instructions and I know I need to fit a flow limiter to the shower (combi boiler) but if you look at the photo above you can see a threaded bit of pipe rising out of the tap just behind the shower temperature dial. On my tap, the tap is flat behind the dial and there is a thread going down inside a hole on the tap as if I need a small bit of pipe with two threads, one to screw down into the tap and one to protrude up to fit the shower. I have found the limiter available online for around £3 but I don`t know the name of the threaded bit to find and order it.

Please can anyone tell me what this is called?

Many thanks,
Slinky

    Page 3.

Pipe on for bath fillers are 3/4" & the flow limiters are supposed to be fitted to the tap connectors

  • Thanks very much.I had already found that and printed it off but was confused that page 3 seems to refer to it as a 3/4 inch tap connector then on the page 6 diagram it is called a shower outlet hose connector.

I think the part I need is ref 00515124, just looking for a photo to be sure before I order.

Sorry for being so dim, I always feel silly when I have to ask a stupid question but so lucky that the folk here are so kind and helpful.

Tap connectors are from the pipework & joins onto the bottom of the taps.

The shower outlet connector will come from the tap to the shower.

    Its 2 different places altogether.

  • :o:o:o:o:o Thanks for explaining the difference. Ex hubby is doing the diy but not great with plumbing - my contribution is usually just making the tea and a big slap up thank you meal when all is done.
