There's two threads already, I personally think it's overkill, this isn't a TESCO pricechecker forum, theres a distinct thread for chat, there's a distinct thread for deals, a £20 basket 'challenge sounds like posting deals for which there's a thread already.
yes there is 2 threads, but the deals one is just that, deals. the £20 basket will be like a challenge, to see what we can get for £20. and not giving a penny to tesco. brilliant idea.
life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.

    1. still cant stop laughing, i have been saying for years that tesco are not cheap

    2. Tesco sales have been poor for a few years now.

One area where they were good years ago was fuel costs. They are now about 3p more than BP and 2p more than Sainsbury today.

Yesterday the price of their fuel at retail unit was 1p cheaper. The only thing is fuel duty down 1p +vat (0.2p), they were keeping the extra 0.2p and fuel is priced 131.9. So they could have cut the extra 0.2p.

    3. tesco all over, shop their at your own peril! support your local shops!

    4. It now becomes abundantly clear why Tesco feel the need to recruit 9-12 year old children as per your article of a few days ago. The management team that they currently employ from team leaders through store managers and all the way up to Leahy himself would have difficulty managing the proverbial party in a brewery.

    5. £20 cap on vouchers?? so this means if your shopping is over £10 cheaper in Asda thats tough!! they need to rename this promo, they cant say "double the difference" ..... ahhhh but only if its up to £10 clearly if customers have had vouchers for up to £100 then Tesco is NOT cheaper... lol this is laughable!! stick by your original promise Tesco or admit defeat and remove the promo, capping it at £20 just makes you even more a laughing stock lol.

    6. I agree with Nick, I mean Paul from London no2, Tesco are terrible on fuel, where once they used to be the cheapest, and people foolishly assume they still are when looking round for fuel, Asda are always cheaper, and in Kettering Northants, Sainsburys, morrison, and even the independants, all beat Tesco, so shop around folks

    7. This is a massive error by Tesco. Everyone with half a brain knows that Asda and Morrisons are much cheaper and by imposing cap of £20 Tesco are just admitting defeat. I'm sure Asda will now have a field day!

Tesco is too expensive? You can get it cheaper in Asda? Found out you're allergic to wine?
Please God, help me stop spending!
