  • Just a thought, i know that there is already 2 threads running over this, but would it maybe helpful for people if another one was created for a £20 basket challenge for folks to post a basket worth £20ish for a return of £20ish as it seems that is what we are all having to do now, anyone else in favour of this?

I think that's a good idea - and make the title nothing to do with 'Tesco' iykwim?

That Daily Mail story is now the headline article on its website.

Utter PR disaster for Tesco, as flagged here very early on. I don't know who dreams these things up, but was it not obvious what would happen and what the consequences would be? Not to mention the chaotic execution of the scheme and the lack of information going to staff.

Is no 'common sense' test applied to these things before they launch them?

    Still, their problem, not mine.
