Word of warning, be careful with the fajita kit. I had this down on my list the other day but someone said Asda and Tesco have different wording. Smoked vs Smokey they may not honour it.

Unless someone has had this confirmed?

I had them confirmed on my voucher yesterday.:)

    morning all!

fantastic response from the press today! :) well done peeps!

has anyone noticed the MSE news article? - http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/shopping/2011/03/tesco-alters-price-check-guarantee-in-attempt-to-close-loophole?utm_source=forum&utm_medium=sidebar&utm_campaign=box

'In addition, Tesco has removed a section on its website that allowed you to view the price of Tesco items against equivalent Asda items before you shopped. It says this will be reinstated next week.'

    Let the games begin! (again)

reinstated next week, what a load of rubbish, is that when they plan to pull the promotion????

    loving this bit :rotfl::rotfl:

MoneySavingExpert.com money analyst Dan Plant says: "Tesco can obviously make any changes it likes to its own promotion.
"However, instead of watering down the deal, it would be nice to see Tesco reduce all prices to match Asda, rather than complain about people making money by using the original offer's terms and condition:T:T:T:T

    well said!!!!!!!!!!

I submitted mine on Weds at 12.30pm and recieved a reply on Thurs midday.
Have you tried re-submitting? Maybe you mis-typed your email address?

I have re submitted several times. Just says still processing or treats it as a new claim.

"One MoneySaver reported seeing what was a £90 voucher online turned into a £20 voucher yesterday afternoon, though a few hours later this was rectified.
Tesco says this was a technical problem and anyone affected should have their original voucher amount ready to print off.
It is understood fewer than 1,000 shoppers are affected by this."

Hmmm, I think MrT fibbing again...

It was fun , and profitable, while it lasted. Like many others I now have plenty of Turners, Bombay Gin and Glenfiddich ( sound like an Alki !!).

I cannot believe how stupid Tesco are. I think I'll send in a CV and convince them they need a person with common sense to vet any future promotions and save them a few Bob lol
  • If I spend my £28 voucher today - received yesterday, will they only accept £20 of it?

Morning all and thanks for all your efforts.
I submitted a dtd claim for about £54 yesterday at 9.40 am - my very first.
Should I just wait for my email, it did say 30 hours?
I don't really want to resubmit as I think I made my claim before the T&C changed.

Me too, I entered mine at 9am, before they changed the T&Cs.

I daren't try and reenter my details as it may come up as a new claim. Am also concerned they wiped all claims from the morning.

So if anyone receives a voucher today for a claim they made yesterday, let us know, and what time you made the claim!
  • SO........... now the challenge is to find the best buys for a basket worth £20 to get a return of £20 via a voucher...
I think we should all compile various small lists amounting to £20ish for a £20 return..
2 bottles of wine is going to be the most obvious one..but
Today i am going to purchase

    1x elevenses choc 2.27 = 2.54 return
    1x elevenses raisin 2.27 = 2.54 return
    1x reed defusser 6.13 = 6.26 return
    4x coke zero.... 13.00 = 10.00 return

    total spend = 23.67 total return 20.00
