Can I ask, if we have vouchers that are over £20, that have been issued before the changed, we can still spend them in the next 28 days, they are not going to stop taking them from midnight tonight are they ?
  • Evening All.
I'd like to thank gazwood for the original post and to all who have posted deals in regard to DTD.
I have received one DTD voucher last week in excess of £20 which I gave to my home delivery man today and subsequently entered the order number of today's delivery into the price checker. I should also like to say that I am usuallyan Asda shopper but have taken a punt on this deal.
Obviously I have no idea how much 'credit' I will receive for either voucher but I would like to say this:
We enter into these 'deals' usually with the knowledge that T&C may change without notice as Tesco state in their T&C they "have the right to withdraw or amend the Tesco Price Check at any time without notice" .
At the end of the day we take a punt, I have taken a punt, I wouldn't consider myself a gambler but that is essentially what we are all doing, we are taking a gamble when the T&C's state that the offer can be amended without notice.
So once again I thank the original poster and subsequent posters of this money saving deal and also take the time to reflect on the money that I have saved from lurking on and being a member of mse ( only recently I admit). OK so this may not have been the money saving gamble of my mse life but it has saved me at least £20 each shop and for that I am grateful.

Right, finally got to the end of the thread!lol and I really must say:

:TTHANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!:T

To all of you who contacted Tesco, Asda, the Sun, consumer direct etc etc on behalf of all of us who were going to miss out because of Tesco's underhanded retrospective changes to T&C's.
I start work at 1pm and was really cutting it fine timewise waiting til after 12 when my voucher came through and then the heart attack which came when I realised I'd been short changed. I was already running late as I printed out the page saying my shopping was dearer than asda and the T&Cs; and I was so late I had to run from the carpark to work (not a pretty sight). I was so annoyed and angry that I was unable add my voice to the complaints but am very grateful to those who did this for me.

:beer:Thank you very much:beer:, (one in the eye Mr T ;))

    It's only a game

I am glad you are happy with your DTD, as you say you have saved £20. What I think you have maybe missed is that what people are angry about is that people did a shop under certain T&C's yesterday and then they were changed today and so Tesco's were treating that shop under the new T&C's which was wrong. This has all been resolved and the new T&C's are now in effect.
