Tesco/Asda pricechecker finds here.......

I too only got a voucher for £20. I phoned CS and spoke to a very helpful gentleman. He looked at my receipts that I had entered and said because I was genuine and hadn't 'abused' the promotion he would honour my DTD of £44.56. He also said that they check with Trading Standards before anything is changed regarding T&C's, because they have a clause in the T&C's (we reserve the right to change the promotion at any time) they can cap the DTD to £20. You can get a £20 DTD voucher each day and this is where the cap of £100 per month comes.
A google cache of the terms and conditions states:"We have the right to withdraw the Tesco Price Check at any time without notice."
So they have added that bit about being able to change it, now any purchase made before they changed that was made against the original terms and conditions.

Surely the ASA will insist this new £20 cap on vouchers will have to be displayed very prominently on all media ads? I can envisage family shops legitimately going way over. That won't go down too well. Imagine them getting this email back:
Sorry, your shop would have been £22.56 cheaper at Asda but even though we state double the difference back our T&Cs state a maximum voucher of £20 can be issued.0 -
I've printed out a copy of the terms and conditions at the time i submitted my receipts, these state the voucher cap limit is £100...
If needs be i'll tamper with any voucher to get what tesco have promised and let them decide what their next move is if they pick up on it.
Hope you get caught and done for fraud.
If tesco give you a voucher for £20 thats fine, but changing a voucher is a criminal offence.. basic fraud.
I will see their next move being a slam dunk... police, criminal record take your pick.
While you may be peed about losing your DTD you prob did alright about it but are resorting to criminal activities to vent your anger... silly move if you ask me.0 -

- Is there a maximum amount per month that can be issued in vouchers?
Yes there is a monthly limit, which is reviewed from time to time. Currently it is £100 per household. - How long are the vouchers valid for?
The vouchers are valid for 28 days from the date of issue. - Is there a maximum amount a voucher will be valid for?
There is no limit on the vouchers, other than the fair usage limit.

I phoned Tesco CS and she said that it had been updated again due to "overwellming customer response" to the £20 cap on DTD.
Mine was updated a few minutes ago to the full £36.46 :j
Yes I agree, I printed mine off at the £20 capped limit today at 12.00, I revisited the same email, clicked on the print button, and it has issued me with another voucher for the correct amount of £31.18.0 -

Thanks, but not sure how i can be charged with fraud, as i say i have printed out the T&Cs from the time i submitted my receipt and it clearly states the maximum voucher limit is £100, i will also print off the copy of the receipt where that shows how much i have been overcharged.
At the moment i'm annoyed to the point i'd be willing to fight this and confident enough that i have the law on my side.TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -
OMG what on earth has been happening today. You guys must have been freaking out. Glad I spent my two remaining vouchers last night. Are they capping at £100 and keeping it at that now?
Also I used 3 vouchers in one day and paid by card, total vouchers approx £140. Do you think they will be sifting through all the individual vouchers redeemed to check the £100/1 voucher per day limit? Seems like this would take up a mammoth amount of time. I used different credit cards each time i think. The devil makes works for idle hands0 -
