im a bit panicking now over the new terms about abusing the spirit of dtd.

does that mean we are going to get questioned everytime we want to use a voucher that is more than staff would expect to see.

I have 2 vouchers 2 use. one is for £27 odd and the other for £20. Both were for a number of different items likes the tresemme conditioner, tuna, lurpak, deodrant, always ultras, hula hoops, fruit shoots etc.

Could i be questioned as to why my voucher is worth that much? I mean If i say I just did my normal shopping and this is what I got back who are they to say they dont believe me and think im abusing the system?

I've been thinking and wonder if a company can change their T&Cs on a promotion, once the promotion is actually running and people are taking part?
If there are any T&C's experts out there, I would be interested to know.

Based on what people are experiencing is this not becoming an issue for trading standards? I'm starting to get a tad cheesed off with good old Mr T now- if he refuses my next voucher I'll be livid!!

Plus- would we not have a case for slander if accused of abusing dtd if we happened to have a number of "dtd items" in amongst our normal shopping?! :eek:

I think that you should let the media know about how Tesco are worried about their promotion and are defacing and damaging customer receipts so no claim can be made. This amounts to 'Treating the Customer Unfairly' and no governing standards body would allow this.
