I used two today, one after the other at the same till - split my shop up. Nothing was said.
Considering they are still getting to grips with this after - how long?? It will probably take places a while to catch on to this change.
Don't know where that bit about the voucher total having to be being less than the total of shopping or whatever. Well Mr Tesco should not be sending out such vouchers then and more importantly should not be overcharing by so much !! I think that bit is a wind up tbh.
I can assure you i am not making this up it was what I was told and another Mse said the same i have been working the glitch since early days and have been grateful for advice and warnings other posters have given me I was just warning others maybe I shouldnt have bothered.New to comping 11/2/2013
Feb wins to date: 0lympic messenger bag, £100 :beer:0 -
Starting to panic now as I have a few vouchers to use which are almost as much as I paid for the shopping in the first place. Nothing like £100 ones though. Should I go tonight? If I had known then what I know now . . .

I'm Sure Martin could give this scheme GREAT publicity by announcing to the general public tomorrow that:-
TESCO have changed the terms and conditions of their DTD BECAUSE in some instances their prices were MORE THAN DOUBLE their competitors.
Surely IF they treated us all like some are saying they have been treated on having a DTD refund higher than the original receipt then the papers would be VERY interested in this.
After all it's a pretty poor show when prices are more than double the competitions!:eek::eek:0 -

Boots is on their list of competitors on the till so they should take them, altho' last week I had a manager tell me they didn't but went back the following day and supervisor said yes.0 -
***[STRIKE]POSSIBLE [/STRIKE]DEAL***

Bought it yesterday and got DTD back today - wooo!DFW Nerd #1310 -
So just back from my shopping.....I was a nervous wreck because of the new T&Cs and the sales assistants didn't help.
I handed over my voucher and the young girl looked at it and said she would have to get someone to have a look at it, she didn't have a clue bless her, she even said we never get trained on anything. So the lady who took it looked like she was none the wiser either, she asked a supervisor who also knew nothing about them, she said she has been off for 3 weeks and knows nothing about them, I said it seems none of the staff about themShe sort of scowled at me but smiled. One of the SAs took me to the customer service desk and asked me why did you get this voucher  I had to explain to her how it works :rotfl: even then she wasn't sure, she said, so Tesco send you the money :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: By this time I was dying to laugh out loud but I kept myself together and explained that's what the voucher is for.
The customer service desk seemed to know exactly what they were and I thought uh-oh! But she was really nice, took my old receipt and scribbled, kept my voucher and gave me my new receipt without scribbles! The SA who made me laugh said ohhhhh that's a lot of difference then, I will have to get some shopping done :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Was probably one of the funniest shopping experiences I've ever had.
Oh and btw if someone could please help me out. Which receipt am I supposed to enter into the pricechecker, I was given 2, a recalled one(the one from the till) and the one from customer service? I'm assuming it's the one I got from customer service when I paid?0 -

They can't.:D:D:D:D:D Also, most people have more than one Tesco near them, thanks to their aggressive growth strategy.

Exactly! If their prices weren't more than DOUBLE Asda's (and in the case of the Nivea, more than 5x!!!), this wouldn't happen!!!! :eek:WishI'dReadSooner wrote: »I'm Sure Martin could give this scheme GREAT publicity by announcing to the general public tomorrow that:-
