How on earth is martin going to explain to the nation about this tomorrow, there is no surefire way to say these are the items that are cheaper as we well know and Tesco have no consistency regarding ones they include. He may mention that tesco have the dtd scheme but he wont be telling anyone how to exploit it, I can guarantee you that. If people mess up on his advice it will look really bad on him and cause waaaay to much confusion, people keep asking the same questions on here even though it explains it in the first post, people who don't use the forums wont have access to that info. Having said that it's not the first time he has ended a promo before it was ready...

Someone mentioned earlier that they heard a clippit of what he was going to say, something about 'how to get free bottles of wine'!!!!
I reeeally hope it doesn't happen as like you say its not the first time he's said something and its all ended..

Regarding signing new receipts so that you can't get DTD on a shop where you have used a DTD voucher,

I'm sure they arent allowed to do this as the transaction between you and tesco has been completed the moment you pay for the items.

And there is nothing in the T&C's about this.

Also what about those using vouchers of minimal value? say £2.50 on a £100 shop? They wouldnt be able to use any voucher that receipt generated?

The T&Cs tell you that you are entitled to 10 claims a month... something i will be highlighting on my T&Cs print out i have for emergencys ;)

    Darn the black and white

As for the rump, you bought Finest at £12.99 a kilo, so this doesn't compare - guessing its standard rump only which is £11.48 a kilo.

Doh :o:o Back to Tatco I go right now for the right one ;);) thanks for info

OH happy to have some lovely steak in freezer for when I go away and he has to look after himself ;) and paid for with DTD so no problems

There is going to be a mad rush out to Tesco's tonight if this is the case! If it is this he is going to mention, remember this is only speculation, then I am sure you will have a couple of days to allow the rest of the nation to catch up with us!;)

Think people have missed this! Humour never does come over very well online does it!

    'black friday' ???

It was back on the coupons thread, must be about a year or so ago now (??) Martin announced to the nation that we were able to use coupons to pay for our shopping without actually having to purchase the product stated on the coupon and Tesco stopped us suddenly using the said coupons on a friday which people named on here as 'black friday' lol :rotfl:

Does ayone remember I posted on Sunday that I couldn't find my receipt?
I was advised by a helpful poster to ring them and ask about a replacement
Anyway I managed to get a replacement but I took it in today with my voucher and they said it had to be the original receipt.
They have advised me to ring Head office and see what they suggest.
Will let you know how I get on.

As it's on live tv I doubt anybody has heard a clippit of anything like this, and as martin said on his blog he had to change the email because an offer had been pulled, ie wine offer might be what it was referring to?

someone tried this and a person kept deleting the products and replaced them with rude words

Also think he will have a lot to talk about in regards to the budget? Surely such a small time slot means he wont be able to explain the ins and outs of DTD?
