Just get Mr Tesco to put an escalator in then everyone would be happy, or maybe a ski lift0 -

Got a bit too overexcited in Tesco and spent £132 on my DTD shop - have just put it onto the Asda website, and even after allowing for the Pantene Ice conditioner which has disappeared in the hour that I was doing my shopping (methinks Asda like playing this game too!!) I'm due a DTD back of £108 back if it all goes through! Not sure whether I'll get a voucher for £100, or what they'll do..... guess I'll find out tomorrow! I just did loads of toiletries, cereal, pepsi and basic stuff that we'll use anyway - don't want to be stuck with a load of overpriced wine if it doesn't go through.
Noticed that a lot of the prices seem to have been matched though, or put on "2 for" offers to match Asda prices, which is good for customers that don't join in with the game.
Went around again to get the rest of my shopping, and when I gave her my £67 DTD voucher for a £68 shop she said it was the 2nd DTD voucher she'd had that day, and the other one was for £55. The lady on the other till had also had one earlier in the day for a similar amount as well. I'm guessing some of you must shop at Newmarket too?? :rotfl: Anyway, I couldn't quite bring myself to explain to a member of staff how it was so high...... so found myself chatting to her about the current price war instead. Result for me either way :j Very happy if it all goes through today, but that's me done for the month.0 -

It is closer to us than Tescos! My daughter is being very enterprising - she is selling lovely homemade cupcakes to her school chums for 50p each (we worked out cost price of 25p). She needed some icing sugar and they do big boxes. Plus we got some 100g white chocolate bars with bits in for 25p each.
I am hoping she will do well at it then she can apply for Junior Apprentice next year after her GCSE's. She is a really hard worker and desperate to get out and earn some dollar doing something! And they are lovely cupcakes - better than the ones you can buy in Tesco's/Asda!!! lol
She can come and work for me....

Does anyone know when this offer thing ends?0

Waiting for mine to get verified, but love Impulse Pink (can't afford to be all Chanel now!) and it's £1.99 in Tesco, £1 in Asda. Was dead chuffed when I found it at that price in Asda a few weeks ago - imagine my delight when I found I could (fingers crossed) get it for a penny!
Question on the rolling over - if I spend the voucher on more DTD items, will I get another DTD voucher? Even though I haven't really paid for those things? If so, I think I may continue to stockpile like a previous poster said, and then when it ends spend my last one on a treat (not a Kindle!!!) or Christmas pressies.
Sorry to self promote - but does anyone know the answer to my question above?
I usually bimble about on the OS board, but everyone here has been lovely - I shall report back - we're scared of coming out :rotfl:
[STRIKE]Oh, and I have a sinking feeling I know our spammer in RL  Please don't judge by association[/STRIKE]
Panic over - read her other messages and it's not the same person0
