    i'm the same!

can't fit anymore mccains in my freezer -20 packets about the limit!:rotfl::rotfl:

will be interesting to see what price changes are tomorrow and after buying a few duff things last night in my panic to spend my voucher i might try and play it cool until thurs when more confirmed deals are being reported

one thing that has concerned me is the signing of the new receipt thing, have many people had this experience today, makes me think i shouldn't perhaps wait too long before using next voucher?
they never sign mine in hatfield hertfordshire lol

Sorry I have missed something down the line! Are they actually signing receipts that have been paid via DTD so that you can no longer get a new DTD on that receipt?

someone suggested it was in the pipeline yesterday. I so hope not!
  • just been looking at some of todays posts and am shocked to see that some people are NOT using their DTD vouchers to do a DTD shop. I've been rolling over my vouchers so for my first spend of about £20 cash got £100 of stuff (£80 with DTD vouchers) and £20 voucher to start me of for april

    I think we should have signs made up for the front of trolleys; you know, for those of us being potentially lethal whilst simultaneously checking MSE/Asda/Tesco's websites on our mobiles whilst mooching round. Something like;
    "Caution, MSE'r at work"

pmsl:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:i drove my trolley straight in the back of some ladies poor legs tonight while on the phone checking asda n i couldnt see over the baby in her car seat on my trolley lol i was like ohhh sorrry baby brain still miles away sorrry lol:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I was moved to a different till, away from all other customers and I swear a bit of poo came out as beads of sweat began to form on my forehead.

This has to be the quote of the day...fantastic, had me in stitches!!

Just got a report back from my OH leaving the store, no problems using the DTD voucher, she had forgotten to put his clubcard through so he decided to go to customer services to get them to put it through (brave soul if you ask me!) Managed to pick up 6 bottles of Turner Road Merlot and a 4 pack of Guinness lets just hope they price match!
    PS Receipt not signed!

I might have done had she managed to process my vouchers :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Makes me laugh they nearly always ask incredulously is that the only way to get up here and I always reply unless Tesco can air drop the delivery then yes (most of the time they don't see the funny side, I always do cos I don't have to carry the shopping up the flipping hill) :T

Air dropping is actually a great idea, delivery by air balloon, the basket need to be big to hold all that shopping...actually on second thought £140 shop doing DTD would be about 3 bags worth :rotfl:

Received an email from Philip Clarkes office. I had asked why pricechecker was removed and will it be back. If not are cusmtomers to compare prices using online and instore prices as a guide.

    Dear *******

Thank you for your email which is receiving our attention.

    Kind Regards

I see someone else got a response from the same person, but the query was on pricing of an item and she told them to use price checker! :rotfl:

Is it possible for you to give me his email address please?

    OK friends, fess up......

Who bought all the Nivea from Hucknall Extra??? Was it the same person that raised eyebrows yesterday with a voucher for £120odd ??? (According to the checkout ladies!!!)

Giggling - I will be sticking to Mansfield, I think!

I promise it wasn't me as haven't visited Hucknall yet but how are they about accepting the vouchers? I tend to be up that way once or twice a week and really don't want to get onto first name terms with staff at my closest store :rotfl: so need an alternative :D Top Valley scared me and my friend half to death when we were simply buying the stuff so decided not to go back there :rotfl: so my friend will probably use Hucknall to redeem her voucher (or the new one in Bulwell)
If a post is helpful to you, please take a second to click "thanks", it makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside! :)
