Bought Nescafe Coffee at Tesco, on visiting Asda their price was £1.50, not the 2.55 Tesco was charging.

When I got home I went to the Tesco.co/pricecheck site and put the receipt details in.

The Tesco reply was N/A

Upon questioning the store staff they had no idea of how this works and advised calling their head office and talking to a manager there.

The outcome is that Tesco only apply their pricecheck to 1000 specific items and if your purchase is not on their list there is no compare for that item.
Very convenient I think, it is so easy to change the rules as they go along...another Supermarket con!!

Hi that was me, I bought 2 dvd's that shop and other none grocery buys and got dtd on all of them. I had checked the items before the price checker had gone down but also thought DVDs and non grocery items were a safe bet incase they came back n/f and could easily take back.

hi all, i did a dtd shop yesterday and entered reciept but as of yet have not got my voucher through. is anyone else still waiting as i thought they all come through at the same kind of time?

im starting to wonder now if in my rush yesterday to enter the reciept i have entered the wrong email add, but then again i have to enter it twice so what is the likely hood that i have entered it wrong twice.
