If I place an order for tomorrow are the prices likely to change?
Don't want to place an order that could get me £50 cashback today, but by tomorrow the prices change & I get nothing back.
    Thanks

I don't think I'd risk online days in advance, we are getting stuff instore and IMMEDIATELY submitting the receipt details in the carpark on the netbook as we come out of the store, as the receipt input is timestamped from when you submit it I believe regardless of any subsequent price changes.
This won't last long before Tesco either put a limit on number of items, impose the 'fair use' policy they mention, or even to extremes log ip addresses.

It'll be checked against the timestamp and date you submitted the receipt details online, that's why its imperative you check the price, buy it instore and submit the receipt details all in as little timeframe as possible to be safe.

i think the prices are checked at the same time and date when you receive your receipt; not when you submit the details online.

    confirmation from tesco site:

'Is the price check made for the date of the shop or at the time of entering receipt details? The price check comparison with ASDA products is for the date of the shop, rather than at the time of entering receipt details.'

    Confirmed DTD:

PG Tips Pyramid 160 Teabags £4.25 Tesco / £3.00 Asda.
    Innocent Kids Smoothie Drinks (4 pack/all flavours) £2.92 T / £2.00 A.

Thought that would be the case. Tesco quoting £18.99 for Baileys litres, Asda showing as 'N/F' but on website its on special offer at £10.00. I guess Tesco can just change anything that is cheaper in Asdas to 'N/F'...

This is for the Coffee and Hazlenut 1Ltr. Its works fine with the Original at £16.47.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
    kelloggs branflakes £1.99 / £1
    kelloggs cornflakes £1.98 / £1
    kelloggs honey loops £2.35 / £1

If I have got the gist of it.

What days do change over in prices take place as I order online, so just my luck the day of delivery with tesco will have a price change?
  • How does this work when items are on offer ie
Sprite Regular 6 X 330 Ml Pack £2.89 (tesco) £1.50 (asda) so £2.78 cashback , but these are also 2 for £5 in tesco.

Just buy one, instead of two packs. Same as BOGOF, only take one, not your free one.
