no, the worst that can happen is that tesco will state it as N/F and you won't get anything but overpriced toothaste ;)

The pricechecker site if you've looked will state n/f before you buy it, if it states n/f - don't buy it, if it gives a higher price in the tesco column than the asda column and doesn't state n/f - buy it and have a bad nights sleep, or don't buy it anyway and have a great nights sleep safe in the knowledge it didn't state n/f which indicated the deal was 'on' but you wanted security or confirmation that someone had tested it first, but was still too much of a risk - it's really up to you and don't feel bullied into buying the toothpaste

relax, I have already done "couple" of good shops myself and won't loose any sleep about toothpaste... was just wondering as didn't find it on the price checker first... anyway, I'd wait until tomorrow afternoon with any new "finds" as the prices are from 11th march on there so far and as far as I can see asda is updating their website tonight... I'll look out for glade candles tomorrow as they seem to be half price in asda... good luck everyone and get as much as you can as I can't see tesco doing it for any longer then another week with so many of us being "overcharged" ;)

Hey, I'm the most relaxed dude their is, do as I said, just type 'aquafresh' into the pricechecker box, it'll bring up about 20 aquafresh products, find the specific one I mentioned, it'll have three prices with no n/f ;)

What a great thread is this. It's really opened my eye's to how this DTD works. I will certainly be checking mysupermarket out from now on when i go shopping just to compare the differences and hopefully benefit from it.

don't rely just on mysupermarket, the items have to be on tescos price checker too to get compared

Have tesco's been advertising this in the media yet? i dont bother with newspapers and dont recall any adverts?

I noticed a promo in the window of my local store but didnt really take much notice...

This could be lots of fun if it hangs around, only downside is that i dont get to deal with the lovely tesco customer service staff who hate being reminded of store policy ;o)
TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS
