hi ia agree with the other response

this would be outright fraud and pushing the limit
ok so mayber going slightly over the £100 limit is pushing the T&C but encouraging people to do this is wrong-not saying you are but am warning people not to risk tesco pulling the plug for the rest of us

same with people thinking they can reprint vouchers and use with reciepts that have been unsigned-my sister mentioned whether she could try this today-i replied NO WAY!!!!:mad: could you live with your self

anyway i suspect the barcodes on the vouchers are traceable to your email address??

Barcodes are generic, thats why they have to enter the receipt amount manually.

Please don't even bring the subject up. It only gives unscrupulous people ideas. It is fraud to reuse a voucher, and would give Tesco the ideal excuse to pull the promotion.
I'm not going to do it just curious if anybody has tried, I figured that the voucher would be recorded in some way by Tesco'
This Dtd is brill I've been able to treat my family to some foods I would not normally buy as too expensive, our dog is happy as he has some expensive food for a change too..... and I have enough wrinkle cream to last a good few months.....and best of all I now enjoy shopping:j I'm very cautious to keep to my vouchers total for each shop so I'm not lining Mr Tesco's pockets:rotfl:
  • Hi All
My first post on MSE. The Tesco DTD is good - what it means in our household is that we have traded up from basic / value ranges to Branded goods - the boys lunchboxes this coming will be brimming with goodies eg Kit Kats (9 pk) Tesco £1.65 v Asda £1.00, Mattesons Rippa Dippa Range Tesco £1.99 Asda £1.00. Tropicana Fruit Juice 1 Ltr - Tesco £2.18 v Asda £1.50, Lurpak 500g spreadable Tesco £2.80 v Asda £1.50. Muller Light Range (6 x 190g) Tesco £2.96 V Asda £1.50
Kellogs Variety Pack Tesco £1.98 v Asda £1.00, Hula Hoops (7pk) various flavours Tesco £1.59 v Asda £1.

Not sure if Tesco will keep this going in present format. Good Shopping to all

Thanks Simon31leeds and Karlie88. It was my local Tesco's Extra. Cashier checked with customer services and other cashiers and no-one knew anything about it. I will email customer services so hopefully next time the store will be aware.

i think the barcodes are generic - don't think they're unique.

Holy cow! Just looked at my vouchers, yes they all have the same barcode. That explains why they have to enter the amount manually at the cash register.

Don't forget though that your original receipt details are on the bottom of your voucher
