I am aware some folks are scared spending a large DTD, just as I was.
I used my £104.06 one today with no problems at all, the girl on the desk was so interested I had to tell her how to do it.
My big problem was I went in to do a normal shop and am home with over £140 of offers...... not going to use the voucher from this shop till next month.

I'm not too fussed about the £100 per month limit as I feel its up to Tesco to monitor the limit themselves. After all, we are all following our normal shopping habits and we don't have any idea about what Asda might be cheapest for when we fill our trolleys do we?:D

However, I am thinking that it might be best if, when doing big shops hoping for DTD, it would be sensible to split the shops so that refund vouchers were around £5 ish - and to certainly avoid any that would come to over the £100 limit on just one coupon. If too many staff see vouchers which are clearly bigger than the maximum that should be allowed they might start reporting the problem to HO who might then decide to look a bit more closely at the voucher values. As it is, we are getting away with higher value vouchers and it would be a pity to draw too much extra attention to this .

:doh:Oh oh, you're all going to think I'm so daft...after the rigmarole of calling CS about my missing receipt...well, I found it, I put it on the radiator while I stashed all the stuff in my 'Tesco keep till DTD is confirmed' box. :rotfl: I also forgot to use my £2 voucher that Tesco sent me through the post. Numpty!

  • Hi all, this is my first post on this thread. Here is my shopping list from yesterday 3.36pm, and I got the voucher through this morning at 11.15am (but it went into my junk folder and I didn't see it for a while):

    Cucumber 80p/50p
    Foxs Triple 10 pack £1.35/£1
    Napolina Chopped Tomatoes 400g 99p/55p
    Nutella 400g £1.90/£1.40
    Babyleaf & Rocket salads 100g £1.50/£1
Heinz top down squeezy tomato ketchup 910g £2.55/£2
    Carrots Class 1 pack £1.20/50p
Foxs Chocolatey Vanilla Shortcake 125g £1.79/£1
Foxs Choc Caramel Shortcake 125g £1.79/£1
Foxs Creations Choc Shortcake Rings 150g £1.79/£1
Febreze Aerosol 300ml White Floral £3.06/£2
    Glade Candle Brazilian Mango £3.47/£1.75
Pantene Ice Shine Shampoo 500ml £3.97/£2
Pantene Ice Shine Conditioner 400ml £3.97/£2
Princes Tuna Chunks in Brine 4x185g £5.39/£3
    2 x Cornetto Enigma Chocolate 4pack 360ml £5/£2

    Total: £40.52 / £22.70

So, £17.82 cheaper in Asda, and got a voucher for £35.64!

I am just so thrilled to be able to get all of the above for less than £5. It is all stuff we will use and really enjoy - its usually Value range everything in this house so it will make a lovely change. Thanks to all who put up their lists to help me get this :T
