Tesco/Asda pricechecker finds here.......

Hi, I was just wondering, with all this talk of price checkers online, Asda price check,Tesco price check wouldn t it be simpler just to go with a list to Asda, mark down the prices there then go to Tesco and check prices instore. If there s a suitable difference then buy the goods. I realise lots dont have the time to do this and maybe they haven t a store nearby but for those of us who do, it would be better wouldn t it ? Or am i missing something
Yes, The problem we are going to face is Tesco "N/F - not found" on our receipt - they don't seem to compare everything even thought we know that the product is cheaper in Asda (taken from Asda price check & Tesco price check) - at the moment they pick & choose to tell us which is found & which is not.Well thanks a bunch !!! Some of us re happily using both sites (yes, I agree or even hotuk) and rarely fall out with anybody and I think if anyone is being unfriendly/!!!!!ing etc its you (it happens both sides) with your 'banning' suggestion (MSE does not banned anyone unless its spam whereby PTS is one sided). Both sites have their plusses and minuses ( I agree) and I fail to see why the use of one site precludes using the other (tell that to PTS mods). PS my username is the same on both sites so I am not trying to hide behind a different name (more than can be said for some people).
I am not hiding my name:DSaid the same thing earlier and my name is more or less same on both, or all if you count hot uk deals as well. All 3 sites have their uses, all 3 sites have people who can't get along, I try to avoid arguments (am usually but not always successful) and save as much money as I can.
Totally agree... that is why some of us are just a lurkers on all 3 sites to avoid confrontation. Just look for money saving & keep the family happy and away from hunger;) (btw, not the alcohol :rotfl:).

I dont even drink wine, and you have all got me wanting to run to Tesco and get 6 bottles of the Pinot. I didnt realise that it worked in a multibuy.
So 3 bottles at Tesco is 19.47 Mr A is 10.00 So for three bottles I would get 18.94 in a DTD voucher. Could i then take the wine back?Saving 2.00 coinsGrocerys set to 40.00 pwBeing Thrifty0 -

Wouldn't have thought so, as you would have used your voucher and your receipt will be signed, you would need to prove it wasn't dtd to get a refund/voucher back. Maybe someone could clarify?Comping wishlist for 2017
