  • Mcauleys kitchens supply a flatpack kitchen. if you want one of those just go to B&Q they are far cheaper and probably just as good.
If you want a proper manufactured cabinet go elsewhere

My mate fits kitchens for a living for one of the larger more well known companies but he swears that you'll struggle to beat Ikeas kitchens for quality & build ... if fitted properly & not attempted by the typical weekend DIYer.
As a designer, I've spec'd & seen the finished results of these and they're top notch. Well worth having a look at.

I have been reading this forum for a while but have never registered but had to today to tell my story of dealing with mcauleys.

    1. Comms were poor - they had different men for different jobs but we had to keep ringing to find out who was coming when
    2. They tried to fit a built in freezer without realising that the way they were doing it would mean that the door could only be Opened part way
    3. Started putting lights in the wrong place
    4. Numerous chips on the cornice and kickboards
    5. Could have closed my eyes and done a better job than their 'plasterer'
    6. Failed to use common sense when wiring a bank of switches
7 we had ordered a granite worktop which needs measured and made after the rest of the kitchen has finished - they sent a tiler to the house before the worktop had even been measured
    8. Was told it would take 3 days - ended up taking 5

Fitters came out to relace kickboards and still left chipouts and tried to put a different colour of veneer on a part as they didn't have the correct veneer
We got the fitters out again and they eventually fitted cornice and kickboards correctly

In summary I wouldn't recommend mcauleys but I know someone who was very happy with the work done

Classic Kitchens soldierstown road aghalee designed and fitted the kitchen in our new home 2 years ago.It was top class material and fitting was excellent exactly what we ordered.over xmas last our eldest teenager and friends "horseplay" managed to bend a cupboard door right round pulling the top hinge out of the woodwork along with a chunk of the wood.I rang classic up to ask could it be repaired and a guy came out had a look went away came back with a new door and fitted it at no cost.now thats good service.!!
