Is it ok to send a chq from my new account??

I am about to send the reuqest for statements and have a question about the £10 fee. Is it ok to send a chq from my new account which I have opened of would I be best to send a postal order?

You can send a cheque form your new account, I wouldn't think that there would be any problems.0

we sent a £10 note (to hsbc) - just determined not to let them have new bank details after they extended and extended our overdraft then decided it had to be repaid immediately before closing our account without telling us. Anyway they sent the tenner back with the requested statements!!0

It is perfectly okay to send a cheque from the new bank. Nice to rub their noses in it a bit!
However, my preference is for a PO as they ALWAYS return it. The one I originally bought has done the rounds for about ten claims of myself and friends now! I'm not sure why - my only guess is that cash and POs are 'archaic' forms of payment these days and it is too much trouble to process them.0
