    Afternoon all

I've done the bathroom and toilet today, emptied all the indoor bins, got some washing out on the line. Sorted through two more kitchen cupboards just leaving enough stuff for the next couple of weeks (washing up liquid etc.) and bagged it up and put it upstairs. Very little to get rid of.

Going to catch up now, hope all are well.

They were talking about it last night on tv and it works best on washing that is not very dirty :rotfl:

Dusty with 3 boys like me you are are on exactly the same wavelength as me;)

I've had a very busy morning flying. I have spring cleaned all 3 bathrooms including emptying cupboards, chucking unused gibble and scrubbing shelves. I've scrubbed all the tiles and bleached all the grouting. Loads of limescale has been soaking in vinegar and it's all come up lovely:).

Master bedroom has had the sheets stripped, washed and changed. I am tidying up as I am packing.

DS1 has hoovered the kitchen, dining and hall floors for me (faints in amazement). I'm going to give it a good mopping as it's dirty again from Monday.

I have 3 days worth of school shirts x 4 children to iron ready for next week (12 shirts) 2 pairs of trousers/skirts per child (8 items)

My wheeled bag has been recoved from DS1's bedroom (no idea how it got there or why) and I have sorted out what I am taking away with me.

Anyone for a HHI at 12.30? - I'll join you Dancemum
  • Hi everyone - hope the week's going swimmingly; failing that, hope you're still swimming...

Haven't been following lists - today is the first day of flying. This morning I have spent an hour to-ing and fro-ing with the OU; cleared out and relit the fire; fed beasts; tidied, dusted and hoovered living room; tidied, dusted, hoovered office; WM x 3 and TD x 2 (weather's too damp and I just want it cleared); washed up and swept kitchen floor; had breakfast. My bedroom next, then a walk (not been out for a week cos of being tied to desk:mad:) then kids' room and bathroom when I get back. Maybe.

I need to pick the collective flylady brain - I have a tub of Stork for baking in the fridge that went out of date on 15th Jan, it smells & looks fine, should I use it?

I'm with Pigpen - I'd use it, definitely.

I do sympathise. I have just been to look for the middlepot of my Easyyo tub which SS1 has apparently borrowed for his gym drinks. In his room I also found my missing rucksack that we need for swimming lessons and have been looking for for weeks, and the carton of fruit juice I put out for OH last night as the previously put out one had also vanished (empty, in his bin along with the wrappers of all the childrens packed lunch penguins). Everything snackable already has to live in our bedroom so he doesn't munch through a months worth in a day. He is 19 and has a job that gives him more disposable income than us, so not a starved 14 year old with no pocket money .

I have cleaned out the pantry (whilst looking for the yoghurt pot and the missing fruit juice cartons). I shall join you at 12.30 and clean the rest of the kitchen.

ETA Cally, if it isn't mouldy or split then I would use it.

  • cally_c - I would use the stork as well

dancemum, mumto5, lemanie and hex - I will join you at 12.30 (might start a bit earlier) as I'll be busy for the rest of the day :)

Watched my DD class assembly today and done shopping. Only flying so far is unloading and loading dw but will go as fast as I can in HHC as want to get a fair bit of the list done for today (and still need to do bathrooms too, although they are not too bad and just need a quick s&s)

I'll start now and be back at 13:00 :p
