Middle of oven missing.

Hello all,
I have a rather odd query.
We're long term house sitting for a friend (9months) as he's got a contract working away.
The flat is completely furnished as you would imagine.
The problem is, the oven has nothing inside. When I say nothing, I mean it has no shelves nor any slots to slide any shelves in, no indents just a flat side (apart from a couple of pegs at the top). He doesn't do an awful lot of cooking so has an upturned pirex dish at the bottom to raise anything he puts in there up into the middle of the oven.
We like to cook.
My parents oven has a similar design and it looks like the sides are removable, but when in place fixed onto the pegs. He said it was like it when he moved in.
I'm trying to find out if there's a solution.
The oven for some strange reason seems unbranded so I don't know who made it. The only other thing I thought of was measuring it up and heading to a local amenity tip to see if there's an old one I could raid.
Does anyone else have any ideas please?
Thanks
Chris

If it's a drop down door, open the door and look down to where the oven door actually meets the main oven housing. On the bit that is obscured when the oven door is closed, you will often find a makers plate. This will give the make and model number.
Use this to go on line and search for 'oven furniture' (this is the term for all of the bits inside an oven).Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0 -
Sounds like my Belling oven. It has hooks at the top which rails hang on down the side of the oven, then the shelves slide onto the rails.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4

I think OP has already asked her friend, and he said it was like that when he moved in, but since he only cooks when he's on the verge of starving, he's happy to balance his oven chips on the upturned pyrex bowl on the floor of the oven

Thanks all, my friend has got back to me.
I've found out its a Diplomat ADP3220. I've emailed a few spares stores to see if they can help.
I'll let you know how I get on.

Wow! I saw the shelf but didn't see the runner/support. I wonder if the runners come as a pair, I will have to contact them.
The shelf is a little expensive but I do see they do an extendible one which I assume fits all sizes of ovens and costs an awful lot less.
Thanks so much!
