I pulled a Warwick University student back in the day at their Monday evening 'Top Banana' night in the student union.

I can report to Mr Hees that she was a hell of a lot more attractive, fun, and pleasurable than a Burger King meal.

Ahhh Top Banana..... Best Monday night out ever!!! I can only assume that Mr Hees made the mistake of living in Coventry, where bad food and ugly women is the norm. Any Warwick student with half a brain knows that Leamington Spa is the place to live.

I've got to be honest, I visited Warwick quite a lot as my good friend went there and I tended to think that their students were a bit arrogant. All very intelligent, but they often struck me as the type of people I wouldn't necessarily employ if I had a couple of options.

I personally don't think you can pick a city and call half the population 'ugly'.

TBH I don't think it would be contentious in most countries to describe the food in Britain as terrible. One of the stereotypes of Britain is that the food is overcooked and stodgy. That was certainly the case when I was a kid although things have gotten better. I would still say the majority of Britons see food as fuel rather than a pleasure. As an example, see how big the market is for ready meals in the UK compared with other countries.

That's because all the baby boomers are so busy working that they have no time left to teach their unemployed offspring how to cook :)

It could be a total coincidence but, apart from my 1st wife, the ugliest woman I ever saw was in Coventry - Gargoyle Spice. And I know, I'm no oil painting either.

    GG
There are 10 types of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those that don't.

You've obviously never been to Coventry. ;)
