    They may not climb so much because they are slightly older boys. They tend to get a bit lazier when they get older, well boys do at least. But if you change their cage about regularly and put hammocks in different places, hide tasty treats around for them to find then they may get a bit more active. The cage you have sounds great, keep on scrubbing to get the smell away. If the previous owner didn't clean it very often then that could be the cause of the lingering smell.
