the association say its the pressure nothing they can do.. but these houses only about 7 years old and in a brand new estate..

is there anything that can be done that she can do to help as the shower next to useless..

You have to describe the system in some detail to permit a remote diagnosis. In any event if its an HA property then you have to get them to address it. So far they have just dismissed it as "too difficult" by all accounts. Make a noise until they DO address it.

I had a new shower installed which also runs from the hot water system and the pressure was very disappointing. The plumber said that the only thing we could do was to install a pump which I wasn't happy about because of the expense and on-going electricity costs. So I looked on the internet for a low pressure showhead and came across this one: Grohe Euphoria

It has made a huge difference.

The other thing you need to check is whether the shower has a restrictor as I think the manufacturers are required to put them in as standard now for environmental reasons.

It might also be worth trying a shower hose with a large bore, although when I tried one, it didn't make much difference as the existing one had quite a large bore already.

funnily enough she got a new shower head coming .. is a freebie from thames water companys promotion so see if that works .. she put new hose on and it was a bit better and bought new head but think the one you pointed out be better if thames water one rubbish

    thanks again

The housing association have said there is nothing they can do to make the power any stronger as there is sufficent water coming out but not to enjoy.

If it's a freebie from TW, then it's likely to have the opposite effect as they are going all out to try to get people to use less water or are they sending it out because she complained about the low pressure to them?

Thanks, I'm with Thames Water. I've just looked on their website but it's all water saving devices. How did she get it? Did she ring them up?
