BG F**k Up Please help

I'm posting this on behalf of my mother, she has been having problems with British gas for about since Thursday 12 October 2006 which is about 5 weeks now.
This is all a bit complicated to explain but ill try my best, payment scheme is £25.00 Monthly Paid On 25th of each month.
Received a bill dated 12/10/06 saying that the payments wouldn't change and stay the same at £32.00 which is the incorrect amount.
received a Letter Dated 30/10/06 saying £21.00 payment was not paid which it was and was again the wrong amount
then received a letter on 16/11/06 saying 21.00 not paid once again wrong amount and had been paid and today
received a letter saying that details changed at my request to £34.00 and the next payment date is marked as 2nd December 06,
which is meant to be 25th of each month what would be the best way to deal with this issue as it might just happen again please note that after receiving the letters
phone calls where made complaining about this problems and each time was promised that this would not happen again and has every time the payment has been paid on time every month what is the best way to deal with this issue? Thanks in advance Rob.

If the incorrect amounts were taken by direct debit, then contact her bank and get the amounts refunded.

The best solution is to leave British Gas for another company.
