Replacement for Egg Money Manager

Barclays has bought all of our credit card accounts. We anticipate that by May 2011, you will become a Barclaycard customer and you will receive a new Barclaycard later this year. As we get closer to transferring your account, Barclaycard will be in contact with you. Until then nothing will change as a result of the sale - Egg will continue to manage your account in accordance with your current terms and conditions, relevant regulations and prudent lending principles.

We will work closely with Barclaycard to ensure a smooth transition.

I use the egg money manager quite a lot and like the way they arrange the egg credit card statements - I'm not very keen on the Barclays site so... assuming they take the egg.com website offline has anyone got any suggestions on a decent replacement?

I don't mind registering for another card etc....

I have a first direct card which has the facilitly for a money manager but it isn't quite as good.

This is of course if they get rid fo the money manager but if they dont then that's a bonus.. =)

Just found h t t p s : / / w w w . ewise.com.au/accunity/aa/home.asp - any comments?

Or you could open an egg savings account and still have access to EMM that way.

Once your Egg credit card is replaced by a Barclaycard, you'll only be able to view statements through the Barclaycard site, even if you get there via EMM.

Just a technicality but I think that's an if and not a when.

That's the company that produces the software that EMM uses (FD Plus also uses the same software), but you can, as you've found out, also use it directly through ewise. Egg & FD customise it so it looks a bit different on the three services, but underneath it all uses the same "engine". I've been using it through ewise for a long time - I prefer the look, the speed, the way accounts are organised and the fact that I can access accounts in more than one country.
