Travel insurance for serious conditions

Has anyone actually used a travel insurance company for a serious cancer condition and been able to get a quote and a policy?
If so I would be so grateful of the info as the companies I've got from the travel insurance article on this webiste are not proving to be experts or specialists.
Also I've tried medicover becuase I think they helped me last time but it doesn't seem to exist anymore. Any help on that would also be welcome.
Thanks very much.

There are a number of specialist companies. Try Orbis Insurance through a broker or Medici Travel.

Thanks luci for the help. Much appreciated.
I've have tried Orbis and Medici travel a few times over the last few years and have always found them very ordinary and haven't been able to get cover.
I found that Insure Cancer were excellent although if anyone is planning to use them then remember that insuring serious conditions will take extra time to sort out medical information and approvals and Insure Cancer have a specific process you have to go through. It's not going to be a cheap premium but if it's a desperate situation then that could be acceptable to you.
I have been able to get cover for cancer from World-first via broker called Rothwell & Towler at a fabulous price. 2 questions that readers might be interested in are:
are you undergoing or have completed chemotherapy in the last 3 months?
are you undergoing or have completed radiotherapy in the last month?
There are a few more questions obviously but we were able to answer no to those questions above so I hope this will be helpful to others who find them in this situation where they want to make the best of the time left.
