Ooh, thanks for the tips
Does anyone know if Aldi and Tesco still have these? Morrisons might be an option to, bf works there so 12.5% off for me

Tesco have them online http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.204-1923.aspx in blue and red, I've seen them instore in the big Home Store in Bristol but I don't know if they have the in the normal stores.
They often reduce them though so it's worth keeping an eye out, I think I paid £30 or £35 for mine.Piglet

You know you can buy Le Crueset cheaper than any of these mentioned in this thread in places like TKMaxx and HomeSense? Have a look there first.0

Ooh, thanks Alcmene. I will have a look in TKMaxx tomorrow0

Try Sainsbury's. They had own brand 26cm 5l cast iron casseroles for £20 (half-price). Only saw cream ones on offer, but I think they also come in blue.0

I bought one of the Aldi ones a year or two ago and I love it so much that I bought a couple more earlier this year.0

It is cheaper in TKMaxx but I've not seen big cast iron casseroles for sub £30 and I used to look for them a lot. They have the the Le Creuset pottery stuff cheap but you can't compare that to cast ironPiglet

That's very true! It is only occasionally I've seen the cast iron!
I guess I don't pay much attention to pans as mine as stored away, none of them match! One day maybe I will fork out and get a matching set but I just replace as need be at the moment!0 -
I have to say, one of the appeals of Le Creuset is the range of items you can get all in the same colours. Would be nice to build up a set so that it all matches etc.
I think I will go to TKMaxx at lunch today and see what they've got. If not, I'll walk over to sainsburys and see. If all else fails, I'll get my mum to get me one from Aldi on Thursday. Once I'm sure I like the cast iron I will see if I can afford a le creuset.
