I'm looking for some rope for a washing line but i was wondering what is the best as the stuff we are using at the moment is to thin and catches on the pulley.

I've always used the plastic nylon line which is sold as washing line. I'd have thought that rope would get dirty very quickly, marking the washing.0

If you can find any left over BT nylon line that they use for pulling cables through with, use that, it will last for years, it is usually blue or orange in colour.0
