cheap way to fill my raised bed

We did a similar thing last year and bought the B&Q 120L bags. Oddly the amount I calculated didn't actually fill it (and my maths was definitely right!) so maybe get 1 extra.0

'Which' magazine have B&q compost as a 'best buy'Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

I'd suggest mixing various different types of compost from various different sources. Homebase, B&Q, Wilkos, 99p store, each store's compost on its own won't be perfect. But if you mix them all, in the raised bed, then together with some fertilizer and sand and clay and vermiculite and any cardboard, homemade compost, whatever you add to make the soil better...Having fun trying to save money without going over the top and living on budget food all the time...0
