Tried it before 8 am,and waiting time was less than one minute.
Tried it again just now and time waiting is 9 mins plus.
The ticket prices are a long way from the Charisma 30p tour of 1971 when Lindisfarne and Van der graff generator were also on the bill!
Saw Genesis again in 1987 at Wembly(£16.50 then)
but christmas is coming up and £140 for 2 tickets doesnt appeal to me.

Are you telling me that those (thankfully few) people who took advantage of it, who are now flogging there as-yet-undelivered tickets for £500 a pair on eBay, are 'true Genesis fans' as you put it?

The pre-sale was intended as an anti-tout measure. Given that the majority of people who managed to use it will actually be using their tickets to go and see the gig (there's a novelty:rolleyes: ), I think it's been a success.

Anyway, they're all on public sale now, so as far as I'm concerned, this thread can wither on the vine.

I think that Twickenham is now sold out. Seems to be a few left at Old Trafford if you are quick - otherwise you'll have to pay the exorbotant fees from ebay or other ticket offices for a ticket. Even Ticketmaster have auctions now which I think is outrageous!!!

It's like all tickets are a set price but they nab all the best ones to stick in an Auction on their site for £400+ :mad: .

I know they are not the only place doing that, but when they are the offical source of all tickets I think it's a bit of a bad show to do that!

If anyone is still after a ticket, you can still buy the 'HOT' tickets. These are premium tickets that come with Official Genesis Merchandise (A Dispatch bag) and a collectable laminate. These are £140 or £165 for the silver or Gold HOT ticket packages. I know the GOLD at least are in the Front Block (A).

So even though these are £100 more than the standard tickets, but you get seats that would probably cost £300 plus to buy now plus the merchandise!

PLUS £7-50 Service Charge PER TICKET
PLUS £4-95 "Order Processing & Delivery Cost" PER ORDER

So Tickets actually cost £62.50 to £72.50 plus a percentage (upto 100% for a single ticket order) of the £4-95 (at least 82.5p for a maximum 6 ticket order)

Then they've got an eBay listing fee, final value fee and paypal fees if paid by their preferred method.
