Honda Jazz Key

Hello

We recently purchased a honda jazz 1.2 56 plate. The car came with two keys but no key fob thing to open doors remotely. Can anybody advise me where we can purchase one and how much it will cost.


I am disabled and am having trouble turning the key. My previous car was able to lock/unlock with the touch of a button.

Hi,

I think you must have the standard "S" which does not have a remote keyless locking. The SE and SE Sport do (at least that is what the 2004 specs say).

Might be an idea to have a chat with a Honda dealer because the Jazz is very customisable (I've got an S and a half - nearly an SE but not quite!)

If the Honda option is too expensive, a car alarm installer my be able to fit an aftermarket alternative.

Honda want £150 pounds for remote locking. I just can't afford that at the moment.

Really need it as have been repeatedly threatened by ex partner after years of domestic violence and police support officer advised it is important if me and kids need to make quick escape. Also have severe Psoriatic arthritis and have to get 9 year old to lock the door after we get out, as am going through a very bad patch.

I would have got a different car if I'd known
