I have the box set of Murder Mystery - Death by Chocolate, but when I first got it, I sent the invitations out to guests and unfortuantely we had to cancel the evening. Now 3 years later I've found the game and would like to actually host the evening again, but of course I no longer have the invitations. Does anyone please have a copy of the invites they could scan or send via email? I would really appreciate it as without those I can't hold the dinner. Unless there's another way?!
Any suggestions would be appreciated; I would really rather not have to go and buy the whole box set again just for the invites...
Many thanks,
Natalie
There's an image of an invitation here:

You could use the wording to make up your own invitations in Word or similar programme.0 -
I did this game
I think all that was on the invites was an introduction and stuff about each character. Maybe the description off the box would do?
The info here would probably be OK http://www.hostamurdermystery.co.uk/g10.html
there was costume info too which I think was something like this...
Chocolate' Bertrand - The greatest legend of the Belgian chocolate industry, he is know as much for his ruthless business practices as for his sauve bonhomie. suit
Marchioness Duchamp - An internationally notorious artist, whose work has scandalised two continents, and whose private live has done much the same. flowing dress & scarf
Maria Von Schnapps - The young businesswoman who has just taken over as head of a long-established Swiss chocolate firm.sophisticated evening gown
Mike Bison - The rising star of American boxing, he's in Paris for the Olympic Games, where he's sure he'll win a gold medal. vest & jeans
Dame Barbara Carthorse - The most celebrated beauty in England, as well as a hugely popular romantic novelist. ball gown, lots of jewellery
Dr. Boris Johnson - An amateur archaeologist specializing in the Aztec culture, she is regarded as being eccentric even in a field populated by eccentrics. something with a big hat... can't really remember the given descroption though!
Dr. Sigmund Fraud - A controversial psychologist whose theories have won him a small band of devoted disciples and the hatred of conventional society. brown suit & bow tie
Little Fitz - The most sensational cabaret star of the day, he shares his ventriloquist act with his dummy Ziggy. weird patterned suit/waiscoat. needs a puppet/dummy0 -
Hi,
I have just been on a frantic Google search myself. We have bought the same Death by Chocolate game and have 2 booklets for Marchioness Duchamp and no Litte Fitz. Beyond angry as friends are arriving in less than an hour. Big tip to anyone else. Check the box before you even invite anyone!!!!0 -
Hi all, we have people coming over in only a few minutes and we have just realised that the Mike Bison book is missing - any chance any of you can scan and send to me please please please? Thanks a million!0

I don't have the 'Murder Mystery - Death by Chocolate' game.
However, if I ever do buy it, my first step will be to check that all the bits and pieces are there! (A bit like IKEA furniture).
This thread is really not a good advert for quality control at the place these games are produced...0
