The belt on my Zanussi hoover has snapped and can I get a replacement part from the shop I bought it in? No! :mad:
Had a quick google for the part and looks like they're about £3 a pop.
Is there a diy/MSE alternative to shelling out for what is basically a large rubber band?

£3 is about as cheap as you are gioing to get.
lot of cheap crappy vacs made these days that do nothing but snap belts ..because of their poor design .
