Pictures won't open

I have tried to open pictures that i have saved on the computer but its coming up as a message saying that adobe can't open them but normally they open in windows photo gallery
can anyone help me?

right click on the image >> open with >> choose program >> find what program you want it to open with
if one program doesn't work try some others.0 -
Go into control panel. Look for "default programmes" and open it.
Look for "Windows Picure Viewer", click on it, and then click on "set as the default programme for pictures".
Windows 7, can't remember Window XP, but probably almost identical.0 -
