    I will keep this brief(s):)

I am sure I heard that JD Sports were moving into the La Senza premises in Llandudno?

    Don't think the chain are closing - I think it's just a storm in a C Cup!:)

jeppy My husband said that he had heard there was a couple of shoplifters going round all the stores. A pair of knickers!!

I have a bra that needs returning :( Worn once washed and the underwire came out and !!!!!!ed my washing machine!!)

I do love the underwear but it has changed recently. Some seem as good quality some dont, the bra I bought was about £25, so not cheap cheap, but not only did the underwire come out, but all the colour came out, it looks really old!

Also the bras fit differently. I always use la senza as I can trust the sizing, but not anymore :(
jeppy - I had a pair of pyjamas where the colour came out on to my bedding. They paid for my bedlinen to be replaced and gave me a £25.00 giftcard as an apology. I didn't have to hassle them for it - I just mentioned to an assistant what had happened and she told me they would make the refund if I took everything in to them. hth

I used to love wearing their PJs but they stopped stocking anything above a size 16. They also used to stock bras larger than a D cup. Would imagine reducing their sizes to smaller sizes lost them a lot of business so not surprised they are struggling when they have cut their market share.
  • i asked them in llandudno on friday and the lease was up and jd sports have taken over so that is why they are closing hth xx

Never put bras in the washing machine for these reason. They are not designed to be twisted and turned like in the machine.

I know it's a pain but if you hand wash them they do last much longer. You can get a couple of years out of a decent brand name bra if you handwash them properly and your size doesn't change.

Keep some washing liquid in the bathroom, leave them to soak overnight and then rise the next morning and hang them over the shower. Takes 5 minutes in all.

Lecture over - I sell bras, I always lecture people over this as it ruins them - and sometimes machines too. :p

I must say, my OH never has any problems, she folds her bras and sticks them in a special little bra bag, before putting them in the washing machine.
They've always been fine and last years. Decent makes though.
Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.
  • La Senza have a wonderful outlet at Street Shopping Village (Somerset). Great bargains. My OH considers a La Senza fitter would be his dream job. However, my daughter has just applied for a key holder position in a nearby La Senza, can't imagine they would advertise if they were having probs.
Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x

My alphabet-girls are with me every step of the way x
