La Senza - Llandudno store closing down

I popped into the llandudno la senza this morning just as they were putting up closing down signs , it's closing on march 19th , so not long. Had the kids with me so was on a mission to get in and out and didn't ask the staff any questions , but whilst talking to staff in a different store they said la senza had gone bust and it was the whole chain going but would continue to trade online.

I've had a look on their website and it doesn't say anything so not sure whats going on.

All stock in llandudno is at least half price , loads of bras for £5 and knickers five for £5. Loads of xmas stuff out too for £1 and £2.

Good time to stock up if your in the area.

I don't know if this is true or not but either way its bad news. Now there is no where really to buy underwear in north wales apart from debenhams and I've never been keen on their underwear

Did Theo Paphitis buy this back again last year?
I know he sold it for a small fortune some time ago.

I know , it's awful. I've always preferred them to debenhams and marks , i'm an awkward size and never seem to have much choice in debenhams or marks and they're expensive. Llandudno is looking bad enough as it is and with la senza and allworths going it's looking pretty pants (sorry couldn't resist another pun ;-) )

That story was from July last year, there are stories from december/january reporting difficulties and talk of Theo Paphitis buying it back but I didn't see anything confirming he did, although I didn't spend long looking.

There's been nothing in the news so I doubt it. They wouldn't be closing down stores with no media picking the story up. Sounds like its just your local.

My husband said that he had heard there was a couple of shoplifters going round all the stores. A pair of knickers!!

I have a bra that needs returning Worn once washed and the underwire came out and !!!!!!ed my washing machine!!)

I do love the underwear but it has changed recently. Some seem as good quality some dont, the bra I bought was about £25, so not cheap cheap, but not only did the underwire come out, but all the colour came out, it looks really old!

Also the bras fit differently. I always use la senza as I can trust the sizing, but not anymore
