Hi
In my last place i had NTL and got a wireless router that was compatible.
Can't remember the name off hand but just signed up with Virgin Bundle 2 and was wondering if this would be compatible as i remember there being 2 types when i went to get the other one.
Ps - I know the one i've got isn't Netgear!!!
Cheers

NTL offers a cable-based service and it's modems would not be compatible with Virgin which uses ADSL technology.
If the device is simply a wireless router without a built-in modem, this can be connected to either a cable or ADSL modem and will work fine.0 -

The Belkin F5D7230UK4 which you mention is a router which you connect either to a cable or ADSL modem.
In your case, you need to either buy an ADSL modem which you connect to your BT line and connect the router to it, or buy a combined ADSL modem and router like this.
Today, modems without routers are less common so this may be your best option.0 -
you need an adsl router,
