    I posted this in reply on the grabbit board but then realised it would be more relevent here:

    Very nice, I had a large dog crate for my darling (very big) house rabbit - if you have a small breed house rabbit then these make great cages if you only shut them in overnight - add a few shelves made of wood or even chicken wire tied on with cable ties and covered with old towels and blankets and they make a lovely little house to keep them entertained while you are in bed. You can also hang chew toys easily, put a litter tray in, water dish/bottle and a hay manger and away you go!

    Buster used to hate being shut in his old cage and would rattle the bars with anger even if he was shut in for 10minutes whilst we ate dinner (he had a bad habit of dragging the tablecloth and dinner off the table!:smileyhea) but in his converted dog crate he would often hop back in for a nap on the top shelf of his own accord:j

    Sorry :o I miss him lots and just wanted to post in case any house rabbit owners were thinking of trying the dog crate option out. I'd say this would be fine for a pampered netherland dwarf.
