Is there a taxi rank outside Stonebridge Park Station in Lodon where we can get a black cab at 6pm on a Saturday?

I'd tend to avoid that area if I was you.
The nearby Stonebridge Park estate is like the Bronx - they'll smell innocents abroad.0 -
Unfortunately need to stop at that station. Do I need to book a taxi, or do they wait outside?0

I had looked at that, but it says yes but then has a red cross by it. Does this mean that sometimes it does e.g. peak times0

I don't believe there are usually black cabs there if I remember correctly. The station is in more of a decaying industrial area rather than by the estates (which aren't too bad, believe me they're a lot better now than ten or so years ago). You may want to consider looking to see if any of the black cab companies will take a booking from there (though this will cost a bit extra).
Avoid any dodgy minicabs that may be around.
There are also a few buses but no idea if they'll be useful for where you need to go.0 -
looking on Google maps streetview, there is no taxi rank...but a bus stop opposite0

I wouldn't wonder around there is you paid me. The next station on the line, Harlesden had a shooting in broad daylight last week, the injured man made it on to a train, luckily the gunman didn't, and collapsed before the train arrived at the next station. If you are thinking of getting to Wembley that way because of tube closures, find another way. Take the Chiltern line from Marylebone direct to Wembley Stadium, non stop or if that is also closed, take the Chiltern line to Harrow on the Hill and take the delightfully named replacement bus service to Wembley Park0

I go past this station a lot. No there isn't a taxi rank, you'll need to pre book one.0

Statistically you're far, far more likely to be a victim of violence walking around the Trafalgar Square/Leicester Square/Soho area. These rough suburbs are rather overhyped compared to what goes on in the centre.0 -
For goodness sake will you all stop with the 'gangster' warnings I lived there for years and Stonebridge station is no more dangerous than anywhere else in a big city... there isn't a taxi rank but plenty of buses run through the area depending on where you want to go..
