Either using internet hotspots or getting a cheap PAYG dongle.

There are various no contract pay as you go deals available such as these
http://threestore.three.co.uk/payg/Default.aspx?modem=1&id=1184&MBB_PAYG&AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1

http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/shop/deals/usb-modem-stick-topup-and-go-white?dfacid=1&cid=aff-aw-default-78437

And when your sister has finished with it, you can either sell the dongle for a few £s on ebay, or keep hold of it for if you ever go travelling in the UK.

Sounds good...vodaphone do one for £25 that come with 2gb loaded for 30 days, might go for this.
